Fiery hot days and tropic nights

Is it hot as heck where you are as it is in Seoul? It's a sticky, stifling, fry-an-egg-on-the-hood-of-your-car, watch-the-steam-rise-from-the-city-asphalt, shirt-will-be-wet-after-a-5-minute-walk, sweltering, melting hot hot hot summer here.

Summer is my favorite season (I'm so bad with cold) but wow, is this year's unrelentingly brutal. My brain cells have gone on vacation. I'm letting them play for a bit more; they've been on overdrive for quite a while.

So basically what your saying is that I picked the wrong time of year to move to Korea?

Unfortunately, yes. I always tell ppl to avoid August if visiting. But the good thing is, it'll make you appreciate the beautiful autumn weather even more!

The east coast of the United States has been quite hot as well, with record-breaking heat waves and the like.

I'd like to say that I enjoy this blog very much. It's incredibly sincere. I just started learning Korean so it's nice to have an inside look into the culture.

You normally wouldn't connect the east coast with extreme heat - guess it's global warming all over.

Good luck with the Korean; it's not an easy language to learn. Thanks for dropping by. ^_^
